Administration/ Finance/ Property

Chair: John Keifer

Administration M.T.:  Oversees finances and the budget in partnership with the treasurer, supervises the bookkeeper/secretary and the sexton; liaisons with tenant organizations; manages personnel actions and evaluations; prepares and maintains RMPC policies; and assists the Pastor and the Clerk; performs other duties relating to the operations of the church.

Property M.T.:  Manages the buildings and grounds of Royster including supervision of the church custodian; initiates repair and maintenance of facilities; manages the safety and security of the church; controls capital and operating budgets for facilities; and approves requests by outside organizations to use church property.

Communications/ Church Development

 Chair: Anna Wactor

Communications and Church Development M.T.:  Manages and oversees the communication activities of Royster, including the website and Facebook;coordinates communication to church members, visitors and the public; endeavors to spread the word of God and Jesus Christ throughout the community; encourages visitors to attend church and seeks to increase membership and participation in church activities.

Outreach

Chair: Donna Dillion Stockburger

Our main local ministry is helping those who are food insecure through our food pantry.  Last year we helped almost 4,400 households. We rely on monetary donations, as well as specific items, and money from our church budget.  We are also involved with Freekind, a local ministry that helps human sex trafficking survivors chart a new life path and continue on it.  In addition to supporting them financially, we collect furniture and household items to help the women as they start their lives over in a new home.  

Once a month we make about 125 sandwiches to take to St. Columba, a local day shelter, for distribution along with a cup of coffee. We collect clothing for the Church of the Advent to give away to folks in the Ocean View area.  We are involved with the local 'Let's Make a Difference' group through educational meetings, as well as volunteering to take school supplies and birthday remembrances to some local schools who serve at-risk students. This year we have started a partnership with Granby HS and provide snacks, personal and hygiene items, school supplies, and other needs for the students and staff.  

Spiritual Formation/ Worship

Worship and Spiritual Growth M.T.:   Assists the pastor and oversees and supports the worship program for Royster including the supervision of the Music Director; manages the music and worship budgets; oversees Sunday school and other education programs including youth activities.
